Zagreb. Sites at the bank of the river Sava. Immense solemn place. Great to feel small. Rare experience in the city.
I reserved time for myself. And it turned out I decided also to be reserved in 42. At the beginning. I did not want to give away the usual space I acquire in the city and this space on the bank of the river by its sheer immensity – such places in the city could be called immencity 🙂 – was inviting me to let go. I could not lift my view, I insisted in watching to the floor and grass.
I noticed that and used it to let my state less the way to this amazing landscape. It felt more like digging into the soil in order to be able to receive the whole immensity. The states led me to abandoned playground, a boat waiting for the water to flood the extra riverbed, a dried tree still having some fresh branches, sand just next to the river, a lot of koprive and finally in the middle of this immense space. Finally I surrendered to the vastness, let the vastness flow through the movement.
On the way back to apartment I did the usual task of performing while jogging. This brought me to such joyful state that I started to write loving text messages to friends 🙂
What also made me sooo joyful was the fact that it was just one of the practices in this landscape. People walking, playing, jogging, resting, trees moving in the wind, little bugs going their way among lush grass fields, people rehearsing for Task project at Platforma.hr where also my good friend Pola Pautan is having his part.
